Bonjourno Blogosphere!

I am Kyle Hilton and together with my beautiful partner in crime, Jade Moulla, we have created this blog which will hopefully entertain and inspire you.

The missus and I met in August of 2011 on the inaugural National Youth Film Academy which was hosted at the BFI Southbank in London and compiled 60+ young people together into four groups to create short films. We were in the same group, with Jade being the director and myself being the editor, and together, with 15 other people, we created ‘Penguin’, a film about a young woman’s struggle against the grief of her boyfriend’s death. ‘Penguin’ was the standout film of the course and received a positive write-up from The Guardian following the films’ screening at the NFT1 cinema at the BFI.

Since then we’ve become a sexy couple and an awesome filmmaking duo!… But we haven’t had any time to make films. So, whilst we are working to make films in the summer of 2012, we decided to start this blog as a way to get us to be creative and not sit and stagnate during the time we aren’t making films. We’ll also be using this blog to post up news of upcoming film we are making and other experiments and projects that we want to share with you as well as things that inspire us.
